These are the use rules for this proof of concept. Public launch terms and operator contact details remain a launch requirement.
Learning and wildlife
Nature By Name supports discovery and name recall. Observation records describe what was recorded, and memory statistics describe practice. Neither establishes a correct field identification, present-day abundance or the safety of touching, eating or approaching an organism. Respect wildlife, local access rules and sensitive locations.
Community contributions
Share material you created or have permission to contribute. Provide accurate attribution and choose the appropriate licence. Avoid harassment, spam, impersonation and disclosure of other people's private information. Uploads publish immediately. Use the report action if you find a problem; it also hides the item for your account. Moderators can remove or correct content after a report.
Your account and decks
Keep your sign-in details private. Public decks can be discovered and followed. Private decks are restricted to their owner. Species learning progress is shared across your decks, so resetting progress can affect that species wherever you study it. Confirmation controls describe destructive actions before they run.
Preview availability
The proof of concept uses a limited imported catalogue and may contain incomplete data. Features and stored preview data may change as the rewrite develops. This preview has no paid subscription or purchase requirement.
